AL-ANON arizona
Anyone who ever had the honor of meeting Elsie G was blessed by her charm and grace. Elsie was elected Arizona's 1st delegate to Al Anon. She met with Bill W in New York while there relaying greetings from Bill's sister who lived in Phoenix.
They raised the money to send her to New York by having a spaghetti dinner. She humbly served the families of alcoholics right up to the end of her 101 year old life. In later years blindness took her outward sight but seemed to deepen her inward sight. She was predeceased by her husband Otto G.,a dedicated pioneer in early Arizona AA Knowing Elsie made life more beautiful. She will be missed by many who knew and loved her.
Her life's work will live on in the rooms of Al Anon and AA
