IN THE LATE 40's, 50'S AND EVEN INTO THE 1960's THERE WEREN'T A WHOLE LOT OF "ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS" PAMPHLETS PRINTED BY A.A.
BUT THERE WERE "TWO" COMPANIES THAT ACQUIRED LOCAL PAMPHLETS AND RE-PRINTED SUCH FOR A BROADER DISTRIBUTION.
ONE WAS "STREET PUBLISHING CO" OF BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA. WHILE THE OTHER WAS "BRIGHT STAR PRESS" OF MOLINE, ILL.(BRIGHT STAR WAS PROVIDER OF EARLY SOBRIETY CHIPS ALSO)
