Je ne suis pas différent

Dans les débuts, il se passa quatre années bien comptées avant qu'une seule femme alcoolique puisse trouver une abstinence continue chez les AA. Comme les «  collets montés  » qui n'avaient pas atteint le tréfonds, les femmes disaient qu'elles étaient différentes... Le clochard se disait différent... de même que les artistes, les gens de profession, le riche, le pauvre, le religieux, l'agnostique, les Amérindiens, les Inuits, les vétérans et les prisonniers.
Maintenant, tous ceux-là et bien d'autres parlent sobrement de la ressemblance que partagent tous les alcooliques quand ils admettent finalement leur défaite.

Je ne peux me considérer comme « différent » dans les AA, car alors je m'isole des autres et me coupe de ma Puissance supérieure.
Si je me sens isolé dans les AA, ce n'est pas la faute des autres.
Je me suis isolé moi-même en me croyant « différent », pour une raison ou pour une autre.
Aujourd'hui, j'essaie de n'être qu'un alcoolique parmi les autres, dans le grand mouvement mondial des Alcooliques anonymes
