He will talk at the noon meeting at Crossroads West and all are invited to help celebrate this event. He is one of the oldest living members in Phoenix and the only surviving original founder of Crossroads.

Bob C. was one of the founders and was on the board for many years. Bob quit a well-paying profession ,and paid his way through a training program to become a counselor, and worked for NCA (National Council on Alcoholism) for many years. He was considered the foremost intervention person in the state.

The Crossroads will celebrate 50 years of service this month (saturday, march 13 2010 - 2.00 pm - 8.00pm).
It started as a house for men and expanded to two more locations, the East ,and West for men, a downtown facility has been added for addicts, and a place for women.
It has a contract with "Veterans Administration" and houses many veterans as they go through the VA program. All residents are required to attend 12 step programs.
