Précision de Vicky : "Même si notre première conférence a eu lieu en 1950, elles ne se sont pas suivies chaque année. Nous avons sauté une année, car personne n'était d'accord sur rien. La désunion prévalait et nous avons continué sans conférence"
"Even though our first one was in 1950 - we didn't have consecutive conventions. We missed one year because no one could agree on ANYTHING. Disunity prevailed and we did without the convention"

Sr. Maurice is the founder and director of the Office of New Directions located in the Bronx, NY. Sister founded the Office in 1976, under the auspices of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill, to assist Religious Congregations of priests, brothers and sisters in the effort to promote awareness and recognition of the disease of alcoholism.
