Dans un procès-verbal de l’Intergroupe du 11 novembre 1966, 
Télesphore B., un ancien délégué du Québec, relate une 
expérience qu’il a vécue à New York. Deux membres AA 
espagnols qui n’étaient pas délégués sont restés dans le couloir 
de l’hôtel de la Conférence, dans l’espoir de se faire comprendre assez pour parler à Bill W. Télesphore fut demandé pour interpréter du mieux qu’il pouvait et finalement ces deux membres ont eu la permission de visiter Bill. Lorsqu’ils l’ont rencontré, ils ont pleuré comme des enfants puisqu’au Salvador, Bill W. est considéré comme un second Dieu. Ils lui ont parlé des difficultés qu’ils ont dans leur pays à cause du problème de langue

noviembre de 1966, Télesphore B., un 
delegado muy antiguo de Quebec, relata una 
experiencia que le llegó a Nueva York. Dos 
A.A. españoles que no fueron delegados se 
quedaron en el pasillo del hotel donde se 
celebraba la Conferencia, con la esperanza 
de darse a entender para hablar a Bill W. 
Teles fue pedido para interpretar lo mejor que 
podía y finalmente estos dos miembros 
estuvieron autorizados para visitar a Bill. 
Cuando lo encontraron, lloraron como niños 
dados que en el Salvador, Bill W. está 
considerado como un segundo Dios. Le 
hablaron de las dificultades que tienen en su 
país a causa del problema de idioma

In the Intergroup minutes for November 11, 1966, Télesphore 
B., a former delegate from Quebec, tells of an incident he 
experienced in New York. Two Spanish AA members, who were 
not delegates, remained in the corridor of the hotel where the 
Conference took place in the hope that they could be sufficiently understood to be able to talk to Bill W. 
Télesphore was asked to interpret to the best of his knowledge 
and finally these two members were permitted to visit Bill. When they met him, they cried like children because in El Salvador, Bill W. was regarded as a second God. They told him of the difficulty they had in their country because of the language problem.
